Union Finance Minister Mr.Arun Jaitley has passed the budget for the year 2016-17 here on Monday.
Highlights of this financial year's budget are;
1.100 model career centers for unemployed youth.
2.Small shops can now be open for whole week.
3.Rs 87000 crore for Rural development.
4.Rs 2000 crore for gas connections in rural areas.
5.Rs 500 crore for SC,ST and Women to grow as an industrialists.
6.Ten public and other ten private educational institutions will be developed or turned into international institutions.
7.Rs 1000 crore for development of higher education.
8.Now 76 lakhs students will be provided skill devolopment program.
9.Rs.2 lakhs and 18000 crore for new roads and railway lines.
10.With highway development one of the key priorities of NDA government the Ministry has allocated 97,000 crore for road sector.State Highways with 10,000 km will be turned into National highways.
11.There is good news that priority is given to the private transport system which will be very helpful to the passengers.
12.Development of Domestic Airports in cooperation with the State Governments.
13.Rs.1700 crores for Skill development.
14.Invitations for Industrialists who would like to invest in Nuclear power generation.

Rs.450 Crores has been released by the central government for Telangana State who actually demanded for Rs.700 Crores for the development of backward districts like Kammam, Adilabad, Mahabubnagar, Medak, Nalgonda and Warangal to spend on Mission Kakathiya and Mission Bageeradha.
Rs 4 lakh crore was postulated by Andhra Pradesh govt for the Capital City development but just 1500 crore has been sanctioned by the Union Finance Ministry.
