Shahid Afridi born as Sahibzada Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi on 1st march,1980 in Pakistan(35 years).He is also famously called as Boom Boom Afridi.He is a dashing cricketer and is widely known for Outrageous batting style.He is the current T20 captain of Pakistan.
Here are some facts about his cricket:
1. He reached 7000 runs in 316 innings which was slowest among 34 batsmen having more than 7000 ODI runs.
2. His batting average 23.31 is worst than 87 batsmen in the world.
3. His average ODI bowling against test playing nations is 38.06 whereas SR is 48.4.
4. He was dismissed for zero(duck out) more than 28 times,which is the second most in the international level.
5. He is the only cricketer in the entire world who picked 50 wickets and scored more than 1000 runs in T20 format.
6. He is the first batsmen to score a fastest century in ODI format i.e in just 37 balls and is against Sri Lanka. However this feat was later broken by Corey Andreson of New Zealand who achieved in 36 balls and AB develiers in just 31 balls.
7. He was the man of the match in ICC world T20 2009 in both Semi Final and final where Pakistan went to win that T20 Worldcup.
