History of Mother's day..Happy mother's day!

Happy Mother's Day everyone out there..!!Mother is very special, it's just because of this super power we are here on this planet!!Whom do you consider as the most important person?The answer from every individual is "MoM"! Here is the importance of mother and a how mother's day was started celebrating...

                  

  Celebrations of mothers and motherhood can be traced back to the ancient Greeks and Romans, who held festivals in honor of the mother goddesses Rhea and Cybele, but the clearest modern theory for Mother’s Day is the early Christian festival known as “Mothering Sunday.” Once a major tradition in the United Kingdom and parts of Europe, this celebration fell on the fourth Sunday in Lent and was originally seen as a time when the faithful would return to their “mother church"the main church in the vicinity of their home,for a special service. As the days passed on, the Mothering Sunday tradition shifted into a more secular holiday, and children would present their mothers with flowers, gifts and other tokens of appreciation.This custom eventually faded in popularity before merging with the American Mother’s Day in the 1930s and 1940s.

In the United States, Mother’s Day continues to be celebrated by presenting mothers and other women with gifts and flowers, and has become one of the biggest holidays in their calender. Families might also celebrate by giving mothers a day off from activities like cooking or other household chores. At times Mother’s Day has also been a date for launching political or feminist causes. Later in the 1970s several women groups also used the holiday as a time to highlight the need for equal rights and access to childcare.

If  I could say about most beautiful and significant thing in this world, Then I wish to say that Mother is the most precious and sacred thing which god has gifted every child with.She is the most caring,understanding, gentle, supporting, kindhearted and forgiving personality. She is the first  happiest person on your success. She stands as your backbone and endorses you in your failures.The interaction and feelings between a child and mother is not eye to eye but heart to heart. Most adorable,loved,admired and cherished person is our mother.The only person who can understand our feelings even without saying is'The Mother'. I even add that as god is not visible, he might have created her in his place. She is the one who even stops eating and taking care of her by thinking about us and our future.We can even say her as one and only one sacrificer in this world. She is someone who loves us unconditionally till her last breath. She never makes us feel discouraged or degraded.

My mother is a women like no other.She gave me life,she fed me,she dressed me,she played with me,she kissed me,she shouted at me but most importantly she loved me whole heartedley and unconditionally. I cannnot even describe her because am not that great of describing her.She is the first teacher in my life and she continues to be the powerful influence...Maaa I love you!! I wish everyone a happy Mother's day..!! I hope every mother's wishes and dreams about their children and families come true :-)
