An official statement from the makers confirmed that the film would be a bilingual one both in Telugu and Tamil with the same title, marking Mahesh's first direct Tamil film.The film is considered to be glorifying Mahesh's on screen image as Ajay who is a lovable boy and a responsible son.Kajal revealed that she would be seen as a Non-resident Indian in the film, adding that Brahmotsavam "is largely based on characters and not on leads" and that in the ensemble cast, each character is crucial in the film.Pranitha revealed that she plays a girl-next-door character of a traditional telugu girl from a very protective family who consider herself a very bubbly girl who takes only the good from any situation that comes her way in life and will be seen sporting simple kurtis and patiala pants. She further revealed that it will be the typical bava-maradalu(cousins) connection that we find in a Telugu household.
So,all the bilingual audience get geared up for the new upcoming eye feast "Brahmotsavam"!!!

We know that "Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" A feel good flick which gave the telugu audience a serious note on family values, love and affection between brothers which was brilliantly scriptted and portrayed by Srikanth Addala. The movie has got a tremendous response and a positive impact. Now Addala is coming up with an other family drama 'Bramhotsavam' produced by Prasad V Potluri under the banner PVP cinema.

Featuring Mahesh Babu,Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Pranitha Subhash in lead roles. Needless to say, how flexible an actor Mahesh Babu is. To pull off a family drama with an ease every other time is only Mahesh Babu thing. Kajal Agarwal's grace,Samantha's killing looks and Pranitha's beauty is going to be the most appealing thing in the film.

The team approached Mani Sharma to score the background music for this film.Obviously,cuz He is such a mozart of Indian music.He gave a beautiful Indian classic touch to the background . Mickey J. Meyer was signed to compose the film's soundtrack. The magic he spreads with his music is an evident fact.Every sound track in the movie has a peppy rhythm and flow with a beautiful love ballad. Lyricists Sirivennela Seetharama Sasthry and Krishna Chaitanya have done complete justice to the songs with their meaningful and classy lyrics.It’s a lovely album with lyrics that are surely going to bring in collective tears.
We already know that the Film's audio was launched in a grand ceremony on May 7 at JRC Convention Center.

5. Brahmotsavam "Celebration of life"
The movie teaser makes us to believe that family is all about the togetherness and bond we share when we meet. No family is perfect. We argue. We fight. We even stop talking to each other at times, but in the end,family is family...love never lets go . This is the main plot of the movie with all the twists and turns in it.The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 20 May 2016.
