Pepper 'The robot' will now go to school..

Pepper is a human-shaped robot. He is soo adorable,lovely and surprising.Pepper is the first humanoid robot capable of recognising the principal human emotions and adapting his behaviour to the mood of his interlocutor. He will be now going to study along with the students in a school in Fokushima,Japan.His presence in the school  will be an encouraging fact for the students.He also said: 'I never thought that I would be accepted into a human school.'

Last month SoftBank replaced staff at a new phone store in Tokyo with 10 humanoid Pepper robots to give suggestions and answer questions from customers.

Till date, more than 140 SoftBank Mobile stores in Japan are using Pepper as a new way of welcoming, informing and amusing their customers. Pepper also recently became the first humanoid robot to be adopted in Japanese homes!

 

Pleasant and likeable, Pepper is much more than a robot, he is a genuine humanoid companion created to communicate with you in the most natural and self-generated way, through his body movements and his voice.

Pepper can recognise your face, speak, hear you and move around autonomously.You can also personalise your robot by downloading the software applications that take your fancy, based on your mood or the occasion.Dance, play, learn or even chat in another language, Pepper adapts himself to you!

Your robot evolves with you. Pepper gradually memorises your personality traits, your preferences, and adapts himself to your tastes and habits.He has been designed to identify your emotions and to select the behaviour best suited to the situation.Based on your voice, the expression on your face, your body movements and the words you use, Pepper will interpret your emotion and offer appropriate content.

 

He will also respond personally to the mood , expressing himself through the colour of his eyes, his tablet or his tone of voice.
